It said slip resistant shoes but was not labeled on the shoeGreat boots compared to what's on the market! I've purchased 3 pairs already, as they are my daily shoe for work. Would have to say.. cute shoes, but the only ones that are slip resistant are the ones with the orange base. Also, the "patent black" are superior to the leather ones. The material doesn't expand and will last you longer than the others.One defect would be that the slip resistant base may detach from the rest of the sole. But nothing some shoe glue can't fix :)I'm typically a 9.5-10 in shoes. In this case, I had to size down.. Got a size 9It's greatThis is my 3rd pair - love these boots. After my first pair I decided to get a 1/2 size smaller since I wore them every day and the leather loosened. I’m usually a 7.5 but got a 7 and in time they went from slightly snug to the perfect fit.I really love these boots. I enjoy them so much that I have bought a pair every year for the past 5 years. The pair I bought this year doesn’t seem to be breaking in the same, but the tread and style is consistent. My favorite was the matte black; but that hasn’t been available in several years. They scuff easily, but wipe right off, which is great for me as a bartender. The non-slip is great!
