I really, really wanted these boots to work! The detail was beautiful and the over all boots has a slight destressed look that I loved. BUT I had the worst time getting them on & then off. I will preface this by saying that I have slightly wider toes than normal, but I often buy regular, not wide, sizes & after wearing them for a few days have no issue with comfort. As I saw other posters mention that these boots were tight, I ordered a size bigger. That didn't help. Getting my foot past the ankle was a really work out. Making it more difficult was the leather on the inside of the boot was the soft kind that doesn't allow anything to easily slide past. Once I finally got the boots on my foot was swimming in them. And this is just personal preference, but I didn't like how pointy the toe was. I was sad to do so, but I had to return them.Dan Post always runs big for me. I ordered Size 6. With an insert they fit good except for the right foot. Can’t seem to break in that side in, seems like the boot just isn’t made correctly. I own Tony Lama’s, Coral and Laredo and break in was fairly quick.Color is pretty but seems like they were made for larger calf’s which I do not have.Love these boots,but had the same problem other people had getting them on.I wear an 8 in shoes, but buy boots in size 7.5. I have several other pairs of Laredo boots and they went on alot easier then these did.I did notice that the Laredo Crazy Horse Cut Out boots were pretty narrow in the heal, so that makes it hard to get your foot into the boot. I put them on with nylons and my foot slid into the boot with no problem. You can also stretch them out by using your blow dryer and heating up the area while you move your foot around, holding it in the area that needs stratching out.They are longer then a snip toe boot by about an inch, so need to get used to that,but they are very comfortable boots once you get them on.Just like the previous review, these boots fit perfectly AFTER I finally got them on. The top of the boot is way too tight and the front of the toe is very long almost so much it looks like my foot is a whole size bigger! It took me several attempts to get these on; I gave up a couple times and then came back to them. I'm not sure if I will be returning them or not since I don't know if constantly pulling them off and on will help stretch them out or not. Otherwise the boots are comfortable and really nice boots! Just sorry about the way they're made. :(I love these boots. I mean LOVE them. They are cute and seemed to be a good price. However, I'm returning them because the top of the boot is not very roomy, and they're almost impossible to get on. I actually had to put my foot in a plastic bag to get it to slide in there. I know the size was NOT the issue, because once I had the boots on, they fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable. I've never had this issue with cowboy boots before. So sad that I have to send them back, but I'm not going to go around with plastic bags on my feet, either.I should of listened to the other reviews before I bought these! I love the boots and there great quality but they were impossible to get on! it was terrible trying to get these boots on and I also have very narrow feet!!! I have been trying to figure out how to stretch them out.Was looking for a "real" pair of cowboy boots for my daughter and these were a great purchase. Looks just like the photo. They are a pointed toe boot, not snipped toe which she would've liked a little better. But I'm glad I got them- great quality and great price on these if you're looking for a stylish "real" boot!Not so much. Kind of cheesy in real life and odd shape and fit. Looked better in photo, and just not what I expected. Returned.
