A couple things to keep in mind when considering these boots. They are 16$, made in china, look as high quality as the picture indicates (the picture looks like a boot top on a old style plain flip flop right), and last as long as you'd think they'd last at this price, being what they are.Within a week wearing these indoors only, the front and back edge of the thin sole started to separate from the EVA sole. Yeah, hot glue would be in order. I ordered these as comfortable and easily worn knockabouts. I had no visions of quality, durability, just hopefully fairly comfortable warmth. And they are comfortable for about 10minutes. There is nothing on the insole. Insoles from the store helped and make this a wearable slipper.Updating the review since somehow the reviews of these boots are being clumped together to the sellers benefit.I'd ordered the heavy soled version to use in snow and muck after the first boots ended up marginally acceptable. I recieved the lug soled version of these boots today and I must say I'm appalled. My first reaction after "you got to be kidding me", was to leave a review, and I had no option to review this lug version, since I'd already done a review. Hmmmm.... Amazon really needs a better database. The lug sole is priced 10$ more, presumably because it's better constructed and has a thicker, heavier sole to wear in real inclement weather. What you do not see is that the bottom of the sole is not lugged in the boot sense, it's basically flat with a few cuts, much like a children's shoe. The construction of the boot itself and the material looks even worse than the cheap classic version. Luxurious fleece? Take the product misspelling as truth, there is nothing luxurous or even luxurious about these boots. The sole is actually barely 1/4inch thick. The sidewalls are basically that, thin sidewalls and if I could actually get my feet into the boot, I'd daresay it's warm on a 75 degree day only.... This boot is marked 11, but it's far too short to be a real size 11, and far too narrow. This is a kid's shoe, a shoe for a child that cannot speak and ask why you're making them wear such a piece of garbage. After seeing that, I'm returning everything from shoes18, because they're peddling trash in the worst way. Color me silly for trying to save some money on shoes, I've learned my lesson, I'm going shopping for the real thing and avoiding all this knockoff junk.I ordered these boots this past winter not only to keep my feet warm, but also because they LOOKED stylish and I desperately needed a pair in black. Well, lets just say I'm glad I didn't hold my breath! After 1 1/2 months went by and I still had not received my boots I gave amazon a call. They were quite surprised to learn that I had not gotten my boots yet. They contacted 7th Sole for me and told me that I should hear from them soon. It was a good few days before I heard from 7th sole and not even by phone no less! They sent me a lousy email to inform me that they had no idea were my boots were or even if they ever shipped!!! I couldn't believe it. I mean these boots weren't crazy expensive but for $30 i could have gone to Payless or DSW and gotten a pair immediately!7th Sole then informs me that they no longer have the product available in size 9 black! That they only have the product available in tan! The kicker is they don't even have the tan available in my size!!! They only had 8.5 size left!! So I reluctantly told them to send them to me because if they were really too small I could always give them to my sister who wears that size. Are you kidding me though 7th Sole???!!! You loose my shipment, don't even bother to contact or follow up with me about it, then when I question you about it can't even talk to me via phone. Then have the nerve to tell me you don't even have what I ordered originally available anymore & give me a boot in the wrong color and size!!!! The nerve of these big business companies!! They really don't give a hoot about the individual as a customer!. Their just out to make their money!*Oh and by the way, when I did finally receive the wrong colored boot in the wrong size it was cheap as heck! Those boots would have worn out if I wore them out after one snow storm! SO DISAPPOINTING!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU'LL BE EXTREMELY LET DOWN!Well for twelve bucks what can you expect. If I paid more for these, I'd rate it a one star, but since they were so inexpensive I'm rating it with that in mind.I purchased these because I was pregnant and towards the end of my third trimester my feet were really starting to swell and my regular boots were uncomfortably tight and had gotten to the point I had to struggle (and struggle) to zipper them up. I am normally a size 8.5, but I purchased these in a size 9 thinking my feet were bigger than normal. I was only planning to wear these for a month, so didn't want to spend a lot of money. The right boot fit perfectly, the left one was too big. I thought maybe my feet had grown disproportionate, but no - the shoes were slightly different sizes. This was annoying and caused me to drag the left boot slightly and have to kind of limp to keep it on. Again, for twelve dollars and for one month I don't care that much… BUT it was definitely annoying. Also, in terms of quality, from afar they look good like normal uggs, but upon closer inspection you can tell they're cheap. Also the bottom of the shoes are super thin… like really thin. If there was ice on the ground I could have slipped due to the lack of traction. The boots are in my opinion not made to last very long. They run big and when I returned them I stated they were to large so I was sent a smaller pair instead of a refund. I was unhappy to have to waste more time waiting for my refund because the seller didn't read the invoice in which I requested a refund not exchange or remember my email I sent her which also asked for a refund. I spent an extra $8.50 shipping to send them back which I was not refunded. The boots were darker than the ones pictured but are decent for the price. I still haven't decided to keep them as indoor boots or send them back and wait another four days and trust this seller to give me the refund. I would only recommend these boots for someone looking to get the very basic. But these same boots are sold at k-mart and wal-mart or payless for the same price minus shipping. And you can try them on first. This is literally the cheapest and worst quality boot I have ever seen in my life. AT BEST I would use this as an INDOOR slipper. Do NOT buy this if you think you are getting a cheaper version of an UGG-style product. You are NOT going to like these. I bought 3 different styles from this vendor, and they DID ship it right away as promised, and they did accept the return at no charge, so at least Amazon did back the sale, but the quality of the product is something you would find at a dollar store (I am not kidding - these were TERRIBLY made and should NOT be considered a replacement for better quality products on the market.)I bought 3 pairs thinking they were all different colours but sure enough, two of the boots were IDENTICAL 100% in every way except for the sticker on the outside and the price was a few bucks more on one than the other. This seller isn't so honest and I am very disappointed in the purchase.Saving grace is that this was bought on Amazon with free returns so I can live with the transaction because it won't cost me a penny in the end.The old antic is true - you always get what you pay for, and this product is defines that rule in every way possible.I wore these boots 5 times and on the fifth time wearing them the heel broke off one of them, very cheaply made, not worth the money paid for them. Not at all what they look like on the picture, but I guess for the price.... just disappointed that the picture did not reflect the product. Also the colour is much more faded on the beige.I purchased these boots as a winter boot expecting them to be lined and be warm. However, I can feel the wind blowing through the boots and they are no good in damp snow. Soak up the moisture and end up with wet feet. Would not recommend if you want warm dry feet.Believe the reviews! These boots are NOT worth the price being charged. *Maybe* $10 - they are flea market quality. Extremely flimsy, material that feels more suitable for a bath mat than footwear. Will absolutely NEVER buy again.
