Overall, I do like these boots. The size 8 fits a bit more like an 8.5, but the 7.5 I tried actually fit like a 7.5 and was too small. Despite being a little bit big, they are very comfortable and allow a good toe splay when walking, and did not require any breaking in. Wore them for days without a single blister. That being said, the insert isn't the greatest for multiple days of walking as my feet did get a little sore, especially in the heel. My one complaint is that they are HOT. I have never had a problem with my feet sweating in boots, waterproof or otherwise, but these babies DO NOT BREATHE. The waterproofing on these boots works both ways. It keeps water out, and sweat in; if your feet sweat at all, you will know it. Had I realized this before hiking in them, I probably would have returned them. Alas, it is too late now, so they will be worn for late fall/early spring, and winter hiking. I will have to keep looking for a breathable, waterproof summer boot.I have large feet, but a good track record with Keen. They are one of the few brands that carry women’s 11 and 12. I’ve used women’s 11 in the past at work for steel toed boots. While comfortable, my toes touch the end. I took a gamble and ordered size 12 since there are no 11.5. Shoes required no break in period, although I was working on getting my miles up. Having just returned from doing over 50 miles on vacation, including the Inca Trail, Amazon, and Rainbow Mountain in Peru, I can say that these Keens were a life saver and that my feet were in great shape and blister free!The keen boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable! Just what I needed for work. Have 3 more pair coming tomorrow, shipment faster than expected. Would recommend them.Me quedaron un poco grande del tamaño que uso regualrmente. Son cómodas y excelentes para protección del pieI enjoy wearing these hiking shoes every time I go to Volcano park.They felt good when I first put them on, however, I got a blister on my right foot and also I had to file down a piece of material that was sticking in my ankle. My legs are getting better from pain in my calves. I sure hope it stops soon. I never have a problem with boots bothering my legs. They are waterproof ?Bought these for Alaskan hiking. Worn once and one of the eyelets tore. I was able to make them work for a few hikes but had to return as there was no way to fix them. They also were the only keens that have ever felt tight on the top of my foot. Not comfy right out of the box like they usually are.These must be my fourth or fifth pair of Keens hiking boots. I hike 4 to 6 miles daily so the soles do wear out but they are well worth the money. I do replace their inner soles with a super feet inner sole because I do need more arch support but other than that the boots are perfect the first time you put them on. I highly recommend them. They do run on the small size so I like to get a lot of toe room and I get actually a whole size bigger. I normally wear a 7 1/2 sometimes an eight in a shoe but I buy at 8 1/2 hiking boot.Awesome boots! Light weight, comfortable!
