The reason that I say these boots are almost perfect is that they don't have a steel toe or protective shank, otherwise they have lived up to their name...Gator Waders! They are very durable, water proof AND comfortable! I emphasized comfortable because most boots/waders of this construction have so much room in the foot area,that they create sore spots and chafing on your feet,but not these waders. They have that broken in feeling the first time you put them on. When I'm finished working, I sometimes forget to change back into my regular shoes going home!
